My Nephews

My nephews, James and Wil, came to stay the night with us last night. They got into my dad's shaving cream, and started rubbing it all over my belly. Once again my belly is a large blank canvas! James said they were giving the babies their first bath. It was too cute! Plus, it actually felt good to have them rub my belly with shaving cream. I'm actually feeling pretty good. I feel much better since I've been getting more sleep. The couch is so much better than the bed. I'll update in Wednesday after my dr. appointment. Hope you all have a great week!

32 weeks, 4 days-Dr. Appt

Hello all....
Well dr. appointment today went well, although it was really LONG! The nurse that was doing the NST had a hard time finding the heartrates for all 3 at the same time, so that took 1hr and 40 min. The good news is everything looked great! She said I was having contractions back to back, some stronger than others. My dr. didn't seem to be too concerned about this. My cervix has shortened to 2.8, but he wasn't too concerned with that either, considering I will be delivering in 2 1/2 weeks. The babies all looked great. The weights aren't quite as accurate at this point in the pregnancy, but he measured what he could. As of now he thinks (give or take several ounces) the baby weights are as follows:

Baby A: 4 lb 14oz
Baby B: 4 lbs 11oz
Baby C: 5 lbs 2 oz

He thinks they will all be over 5 lbs when they are born, but you really never know! We're hoping for 5 pounders. October 13th is still the scheduled date.

Only a few more Sundays....

Hello all, I just love Sundays. My mom cooks me a great breakfast and we sit outside and drink hot chocolate.....it's marvelous! Today we were extra lucky because Marcia had Frankie and AJ, so we went over there for our Sunday morning ritual. I'm feeling good. Still having several contractions an hour, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Here is a picture from my NST (non stress test) last Wednesday. I had to use 2 machines because each one can only accomodate 2 babies at a time. So I had 4 bands.....3 monitoring the babies and one monitoring me!

Hope everyone has a great week. I'll update on Wed. after my dr. appointment.

Too hard to find measurements!

Hello, Dr. appointment went well today. NST showed all heart rates are normal and babies are not in stress. I am having several contractions, but nothing new....no real pain with the contractions. Unfortunately, the babies were all moving around and on top of each other so it was too hard to get accurate measurements for their weights. All we know is that they are all over 4 pounds. We did, however, get a good picture of Olivia! She looks so peaceful, doesn't she?

31 weeks 3 days

It's hard to believe I am already 31 weeks. My mom and I went to Napa on Friday night to see my wonderful husband, Nate. It was so nice to see him, and I can't wait to be back at home with him and our three beautiful children. However, I know I need to be at my parent's house right now. We got all the babies' clothes and sheets washed, so all we need now are our babies! This Friday I'll be at our original 32 week goal....I can't wait! I'm so thankful these babies and my body has decided to keep these babies in for as long as I have. Unfortunately, things are starting to really hurt. The last couple of evenings have been really tough. The pain is barely bareable. However, I know it's what has to be done. I'd rather not take any pain medication even though they say some is okay. I've been really lucky to have 2 fantastic nurses......my mom and dad. When mom's not home, dad takes care of me.
Yesterday my nephew James and Wil were over and James made my belly into a canvas and drew a picture....it was awfully cute. Not the belly....but the drawing! We go back to the doctor on Wednesday for a non stress test and an ultrasound. Everytime I go to the dr. lately, I feel like they are going to keep me in there, but everytime I get sent home. Hope you are all doing well.

30 Weeks 3 Days

Yesterday I drove back to Napa to see my hubby, and it was great! He has been really busy with the grape harvest this past week. I didn't get to see him long, as he gets home late. However, it was worth it to just see him for a short while.

Allison came with me today when I went to my dr. appointment and everything still looks great!
My joints are inflamed and my dr. says I now have pregnancy induced carpal tunnel syndrome. It is hard to make a fist or even bend my fingers. The good news is it is harmless, except of course for the pain, and it will go away after I deliver. My cervix looked good.....3.9. Although Olivia's head was pressing up against it, so we'll see if it holds strong as she continues to grow.

Baby Weight:
Baby A: 4 lbs 4 oz
Baby B: 4 lbs 2 oz
Baby C: 3 lb. 14 oz.

We are thrilled with the weights! We tried to get a few 3D pics, but only Olivia was up for the show! Hope you all have a great week. We have our next dr. appointment next Wednesday along with a NST (Non Stress Test). We will have an NST every week until we deliver.

Dr. Appt-29 Weeks, 3 days

Hello all,  I've been staying at my parents house for the past several days, and they have been great waiting on me!!:) Nate is busy with harvest and working late, so it works well for me to be over here right now. Last night was a tough night. I started having contractions, and was having 6-7 contractions an hour. I called Labor and Delivery and they said to drink 2 large glasses of water and lie on my side. I did this, and it helped but did not stop the contractions. After several hours they did slow down. The nurse told me to try to sleep and if they were real contractions, they'd wake me up. So I made it through the night, and went to see my dr. today.

My dad drove me to my appointment today and we ran into every dead end we could have! Hwy 12 was a dead stop on the way there, so we had to turn around and go I-5. On the way home, the road was closed and we had to go all the way through Walnut Grove....a windy and bumpy ride!
Dr. appointment went well. My blood pressure was normal. I gained another 2 lbs, for a total of 61 pounds...WOW!!! The babies are all doing great. Olivia has surpassed both boys, and is now the tallest AND the heaviest! Here are the baby weights:
Baby A: 3 lbs. 11 oz. (Olivia)
Baby B: 3 lbs. 10 oz. (Hunter)
Baby C: 3 lbs. 4 oz. (Cooper....we think)
My dr. said he thinks I'll make it to my modified due date of October 11th. Because that is a Saturday, we scheduled the delivery for October 13th. I really wanted the 12th, but it was a Sunday, and he said the pediatricians really don't like delivering on Sundays....so if all goes well Monday the 13th it is!!

Spa Terra

Hi all~ Before I went to stay with my mom, she came to Napa and we went to Spa Terra for a well deserved massage.
